1. Visitor Visa (Subclass 600)
The Subclass 600 Visitor visa allows you to visit Australia as a tourist. You may visit friends, family, or undertake short term business activities. There are different streams of the visitor visa including Tourist, the Business Visitor, Sponsored Family, and Chinese Visitor streams.
2. Electronic Travel Authority visa (ETA) (Subclass 601)
The Electronic Travel Authority (Subclass 601) is an electronic travel visa that is linked to your passport and designed only for tourism and business purposes.
3. eVisitor Visa
(Subclass 651)
The eVisitor visa allows individuals to visit Australia for business purposes and stay in Australia for up to 3 months at a time within the 12-month time frame.
4. Student Guardian Visa
(Subclass 590)
A Student Guardian visa allows you to stay in Australia as the guardian of an international student who is under 18 years of age studying in Australia on a Student visa. International students may also attend Australian high schools. You may like to consider completing your final years of high school in Australia. with diverse local student population. Studying at an Australian high school provides an incredibly rich and diverse high school experience.
7. Medical Treatment Visa
(Subclass 602)
The Subclass 602 Medical Treatment visa allows people to come to Australia for medical treatment or allows people who are already in Australia to stay longer to receive medical care. If you are unable to leave Australia for medical reasons you can also apply for this visa. The Medical Treatment visa is a temporary visa that can be granted for up to 3 months if you apply from outside Australia and up to 12 months if you apply for the visa from within Australia.
5. Student Visa
(Subclass 500)
The purpose of the Student visa is to enable international students to undertake full-time education and training in Australia. This visa allows you to live and work in Australia for the duration of your course.
6. Training Visa
(Subclass 407)
This visa allows you to take part in workplace-based occupational training activities to improve your skills at a tertiary level and acquire professional experience and engage in professional learning.
9. Working Holiday Visa
(Subclass 462)
The Work and Holiday Visa is a temporary visa that allows people 18 to 30 years old (inclusive) from certain other countries to have an extended holiday in Australia and to work to help fund the trip. The difference between this visa and the other Work and Holiday visa is the additional educational requirements for citizens of certain countries to apply for this version of the visa. The visa is valid for 12 months.
A second Work and Holiday visa may be granted to those who complete three months of specified work in regional Australia while holding their first Work and Holiday visa. From 1 July 2019, a third Work and Holiday visa may be granted where the visa holder meets additional specified work requirements.
10. Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485)
A Graduate visa that allows you and your family to live, work and/or study in Australia for up to 3 years, depending on your qualification after finishing your course. In some cases, you can apply for an extension of your Graduate visa.
11. Bridging Visa
Bridging visas are transitory visas which allow you to remain in Australia for a period of time between visa applications or until you make arrangements to depart Australia. They keep you in Australia lawfully until your formal visa status is resolved. You cannot be granted a bridging visa if you are outside Australia.
There are six bridging visa types all of which have slightly different entitlements attached.
Bridging Visa A (BVA) Subclass 010.
Bridging Visa B (BVB) Subclass 020.
Bridging Visa C (BVC) Subclass 030.
Bridging E (BVE) Subclass 051.
12. Temporary Work
(Short Stay Specialist) Visa
(Subclass 400)
This visa allows applicants with highly specialised skill to work temporarily in Australia. It may be suitable to you if you have specialised skills, knowledge or experience not generally available in Australia.
8. Working Holiday Visa
(Subclass 417)
The Working Holiday Visa is a temporary visa that allows people 18 to 30 years old (inclusive) to have an extended holiday in Australia and to work to help fund the trip. The visa is valid for 12 months.
A second Working Holiday visa may be granted to those who complete three months of specified work in regional Australia while holding their first Working Holiday visa. From 1 July 2019, a third Working Holiday visa may be granted where the visa holder meets additional specified work requirements.
13. Temporary Acitivity Visa
(Subclass 408)
The Temporary Activity visa allows people to come to Australia to engage in cultural, social, and exchange programs or to do specific kinds of paid work including playing, or coaching a sport, engaging in religious activities, participating in academic programs, working in the entertainment industry, attending conferences or conventions, and engaging in Australian Government endorsed events.
14. Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (Subclass 482)
The temporary skill shortage visa allows employers to sponsor foreign employees to work in Australia. Employers facing labour shortages may sponsor skilled workers to Australia where they cannot employ locally. There are 3 streams. The 3 pathways in this work visa subclass include,
Short-term stream.
Medium-term stream.
Labour agreement streams.
15. Temporary Work (International Relations) Visa (Subclass 403)
A temporary visa to work in specific circumstances that improve Australia’s international relations.
This visa has three streams including.
Goverment Agreement Stream.
Foreign Goverment Agency Stream
Domestic Worker (Diplomatic or Consular Stream.
Previleges and Immunities Stream
Pacific Australia Labour Mobility Stream.
16. Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 494)
This visa enables regional employers to address their current labour shortages within their region by bringing in skilled workers when they cannot source local Australians who are appropriately skilled. It facilitates the targeted use of overseas workers to address temporary skill shortages in designated regional areas while ensuring that Australian workers get priority. The visa holders can work in regional Australia in their approved nominated occupations. This is a temporary visa allowing the applicants to enter and stay in Australia for up to five years from the date of grant.
17. Employer Nomination Scheme Visa (subclass 186)
This visa allows skilled workers, who are nominated by their employer, to live and work in Australia permanently. To be eligible, the applicant must have the necessary skills for the job, be nominated by an Australia employer, meet health and character requirements.
This visa has three streams including,
The Direct Entry stream.
Labour Agreement stream.
Temporary Residence Transition stream.
19. Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) Visa (Subclass 191)
The Permanent Regional Subclass 191 visa is for people who have lived, worked and studied in a regional Australia for three years while holding a provisional subclass 491 or 494 visa. You cannot apply for this visa unless you have first held a Subclass 491 or 494 visa.
20. Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa
(Subclass 491)
A visa for skilled people nominated by a state or territory government to live and work in regional Australia. To be eligible the applicant must be nominated by a state or territory government agency, or be sponsored by an eligible relative. The applicant must also possess skills from an occupation list, pass the necessary skill assessment for the occupation, be invited to apply, and satisfy the points test. There are two options.
Skill Work Regional (Provisional) visa Main Applicant ( This is a provisional visa. It is for skilled workers who want to live and work in regional Australia).
Skilled Work (Provisional) visa Subsequent entrant (for members of the family unit of the applicant).
21. Skilled Independent Visa (subclass 189)
This visa is for invited workers, eligible Hong Kong or British National (Overseas) passport holders with skills we need, to live and work permanently anywhere in Australia.
1. Point tested stream
You don't need a sponsor or nominator.
You must be invited to apply.
You must be under 45 to be invited.
satisfy the points test.
have an occupation on the relevant skill occupation.
have suitable skill assessment for the occupation.
2. Hongkong Stream
You must hold a Hong Kong passport or a British National (Overseas) passport.
You must meet certain visa requirements.
You must meet certain residence requirements.
22. Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) Visa (Subclass 888)
This visa is for entrepreneurs, investors and business owners to continue their activity in Australia. It is possible to apply for this visa in conjunction with the Business Innovation streams (subclass 188) or the Business Innovation Extension stream, or holders of a subclass 444 (Special Category) visa, the Significant investor stream allows the applicant to continue their investment activities in Australia permanently).
18. Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme Visa (Subclass 187)
This visa allows skilled workers, who are nominated by their employer to live and work in Australia permanently. To be eligible, the applicant must be nominated by an approved Australian employer for a job in regional Australia, be under 45 years of age, meet the skills, qualifications and English language requirements. This also includes Temporary Residence Transition stream (must be a transitional subclass 457 or subclass 482 worker, Usually, must have worked for your employer full-time for at least 2 years.
24. Resident Return Visa
(Subclass 155 dan Subclass 157)
If you leave Australia after your travel validity expires, or it expires when you are outside Australia, you will not be able to return to Australia as a permanent resident. This visa allows you to return as a permanent resident. If you leave Australia after your permanent visa travel facility has expired and wish to return to Australia as a permanent resident, you must apply for and be granted this visa before your arrival in Australia.
25. Confirmatory (Residence) Visa (Subclass 808)
This information is for former holders of Norfolk Island entry permits. This visa lets you remain in Australia indefinitely. You can travel overseas and return to Australia as a permanent resident until the travel component of your visa expires.
26. State or Territory Sponsored Business Owner Visa (Subclass 892)
This visa is for people who own and manage a business in Australia. It allows you to stay in Australia indefinitely. To apply as a primary applicant, you must have a qualifying visa granted on a particular basis.
27. State or Territory Sponsored Investor Visa (Subclass 893)
This is a permanent resident visa for subclass State or Territory Sponsored Investor (Provisional) visa (subclass 165) holders who have held a designated investment of AUD750,000 for 4 years. And are committed to continuing their business or investment activity in Australia.
23. Former Resident Visa (Subclass 151)
This permanent visa allows former permanent residents and certain people who served in the Australian Defense Force to live in Australia.
31. Aged Dependent Relative Visa (Subclass 114)
This permanent visa lets a single older person, who relies on a relative living in Australia for financial support, move to Australia permanently.
The conditions for this visa are :
1. The applicant must be outside Australia when the application is made
2. be sponsored by a relative or relative's partner.
34. Carer Visa (Subclass 836)
This permanent visa lets you stay in Australia to care for someone with a long-term medical condition who has no reasonable access to care options in Australia.
The conditions for this visa are:
The applicant must be in Australia during the application process.
Live with and be the carer for an Australian citizen who has no reasonable access to care in Australia.
Be sponsored by an eligible sponsor.
32. Aged Dependent Relative Visa (Subclass 838)
This permanent visa lets a single older person stay in Australia if they rely on a relative living in Australia for financial support.
The conditions for this visa are :
The applicant must be inside Australia, but not in immigration clearance when the application is made.
The applicant must be sponsored by a relative or a relative's partner.
33. Aged Parent Visa
(Subclass 804)
This permanent visa lets an aged parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to stay in Australia.
The conditions for this visa are:
The applicant must have an eligible child who is a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.
Be old enough to receive the age pension in Australia and not have already applied for or hold a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa.
29. Child Visa (Subclass 101)
This visa lets a child outside Australia move to Australia to live with their parents.
The conditions for this visa are :
1. The parent must be an Australian citizen, eligible New Zealand citizen or holder of an Australian permanent visa.
2. The child must be under 18 years or be a full-time student between 18 and 25 and be financially dependent on the parent, Alternatively, be over the age of 18 and be unable to work due to a disability, be single and dependent on the parent.
30. Child Visa (Subclass 802)
This visa allows a child to stay in Australia permanently and live with their parents. The conditions for this visa are:
The Child must be in Australia when the application is made.
Be under 18 years, or a full time student between 18 and 25 years of age or over 18 and unable to work due to a disability.
28. Adoption Visa (Subclass 102)
This visa lets children adopted outside Australia to live in Australia with their adoptive parent. We can't help arrange adoptions and we do not issue letters of no objection. Our role is to assess and decide applications for visas.
35. Carer Visa (Subclass 116)
This permanent visa lets you move to Australia to care for someone with a long-term medical condition.
The conditions for this visa are:
1. The applicant must have no reasonable access to care options in Australia.
2. The applicant must be in Australia when the application is made.
3. Sponsors by a relative or partner for the first 2 years in Australia.
4. Live with and provide care for a family member who has no reasonable access to care options in Australia.
36. Contributory Aged Parent (Temporary) Visa
(Subclass 884)
This temporary visa lets the aged parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen stay temporarily in Australia.
The conditions for this visa are:
Have an eligible child who is a settled Australian citizen, an Australian permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen
Be old enough to receive the Australian aged pension.
Be in Australia, but not in immigration clearance, when you apply for this visa and when we make our decision.
Not have already applied for or hold a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (Subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa.
37. Contributory Aged Parent Visa (Subclass 864)
This permanent visa lets the aged parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen stay in Australia.
The conditions for this visa are:
Have an eligible child who is a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.
Be old enough to receive the age pension in Australia.
Not have already applied for or hold a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa.
38. Contrybutory Parent (Temporary) Visa
(Subclass 173)
This temporary visa lets a parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen stay temporarily in Australia.
The conditions for this visa are:
Be sponsored by an eligible child who is a settled Australian citizen, Australian Permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.
Meet the balance-of-family test.
Meet all visa conditions and follow Australian law.
Not have already applied for or hold a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa.
39. Contributory Parent Visa (Subclass 143)
This permanent visa lets a parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident of Australia or eligible New Zealand citizen move to Australia.
The conditions for this visa are :
Have an eligible child who is a settled Australian citizen, Permanent resident or Eligible New Zealand citizen, unless you are applying for the Retirement Pathway.
Meet the balance-of-family test, unless you are applying for the Retirement Pathway or hold a subclass 173 visa.
Have an Assurance of Support, unless you are applying for the Retirement Pathway.
Not have already applied for or hold a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa.
40.Sponsore Parent (Temporary) Visa (Subclass 870)
This temporary visa lets a parent of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen visit Australia for up to 3 or 5 years. can apply for further visas to visit up to a maximum period in Australia of 10 years, cannot work in Australia.
42. Partner Visa (Apply Overseas)
(Subclasses 309 and 100)
Allows the partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to live in Australia. You apply for the temporary and the permanent partner visas together.
Partner Provisional Visa Subclass 309 - This visa lets the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen live in Australia temporarily. Getting this visa is the first step towards a permanent Partner visa (subclass 100).
Partner Migrant Visa subclass 100 - The visa lets the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen, live in Australia permanently. It is usually granted to people who hold a temporary Partner visa (subclass 309).
41. Parent Visa(Subclass 103)
This permanent visa lets a parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen move to Australia.
The conditions for this visa are:
Have an eligible child who is a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.
Meet all applicable visa conditions and follow Australian law.
Not have already applied for or hold a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa.
43. Partner Visa (Apply in Australia)
(Subclasses 820 and 801)
Allows the partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to live in Australia. You apply for the temporary and the permanent partner visas together.
Partner Visa Temporary Subclass 820 - This visa lets the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen live in Australia temporarily. Getting this visa is the first step towards a permanent Partner visa (subclass 801).
Partner Visa Subclass 801 - this visa lets the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen live in Australia permanently. It is usually only for people who currently hold a temporary Partner visa (subclass 820).
44. Remaining Relative Visa (Subclass 115)
This permanent visa lets people move to Australia to be with their only close family members.
The conditions for this visa are:
Be outside Australia when the application is lodged.
Be a remaining relative of an Australian citizen or Permanent resident or an Eligible New Zealand citizen. Have an eligible sponsor.
45. Remaining Relative Visa (Subclass 835)
This permanent visa lets people stay in Australia to be with their only close family members.
The conditions for this visa are:
Be in Australia when the application is lodged.
Be a remaining relative of an Australian citizen or Permanent resident or Eligible New Zealand citizen.
Have an eligible sponsor.
